Meet the coaches carrying on the Huszka legacy of Olympic Weightlifting excellence.
Head Coach
Attila Huszka grew up in competitive weightlifting and brings a lifetime of experience to his coaching. He entered his first meet at age 12, won the National Junior Olympic Championships at 19, and earned first place at the 2019 and 2025 World Masters Weightlifting Championships. He has also held Masters state and national records in his age and weight divisions.
Coach Attila has taught hundreds of athletes of all ages, from first-time lifters to high-level competitors. His experience includes coaching for Olympic weightlifting, track and field, football, wrestling, and general strength training. He takes time to explain the movements, make technique corrections, and help each athlete understand how to improve.
You donβt need lifting experience or plans to compete to get started. Whether you want to build strength, learn Olympic weightlifting, or prepare for competition, your training is tailored to your experience and goals. Youβll receive individual attention and guidance as you develop your skills and confidence under the bar.
Attila is a second-generation lifter and coach. His father and mentor, Mihaly (Michael) Huszka, competed in two Olympic Games and three World Championships, was awarded Grandmaster of the Century, and served as a U.S. Olympic weightlifting coach.
